About Mel

Curated U.S. and World stamps, sourced with care, authenticated with expertise, and delivered with the respect every philatelist deserves.

Who I Am

I’m a curator, storyteller, and lifelong collector believing stamps are small, powerful artifacts of human history. My work blends scholarship, design, and genuine collector‑to‑collector warmth, creating a space where philatelists feel welcomed and understood.

I’m an active member of The Atlanta Stamp Collectors Club, American Philatelic Society, American Topical Association and The Collectors Club of New York, communities that continually deepen my knowledge and keep me connected to the broader world of philately.

What Guides My Work: Integrity in Every Listing

Every stamp is described with precision, photographed honestly, and presented exactly as it is. Transparency and trust are the foundation of my shop.

Curation Over Quantity

I don’t aim to stock everything — only the pieces that earn their place. Whether it’s a classic U.S. issue, a British Commonwealth standout, or a quietly compelling worldwide item, each piece is chosen with intention.

Education & Accessibility

Philately thrives when knowledge is shared. Through writing, presentations, and collector‑to‑collector conversations, I aim to make the hobby approachable for newcomers and rewarding for specialists.

Respect for our Hobby & Its History

Stamps deserve context. Collectors deserve care. I bring a museum‑minded approach to both.

Material for Sale

Alongside my research and storytelling, I offer a curated selection of U.S. and worldwide stamps, covers, and small historical artifacts. Every item is chosen for its quality, character, and the story it carries. My goal is to help collectors build thoughtful, meaningful collections — not just accumulate material.

Why I Do This

I love the quiet satisfaction of a well‑organized stock card, the thrill of a new discovery, and the way a single cover can illuminate a moment in time. Sharing that experience with others is the heart of my work.

Collector to Collector

If you’re here, you’re someone who values authenticity, clarity, and the stories behind the material. You’re in good company. I’m glad you’re part of my journey.
